A summertime gathering so dress is casual, shorts are welcome!

11:00 a.m. Eucharist
12:00 p.m. Hot dog picnic, social time, games, displays, and special visitors
2:30 p.m. Te Deum Service of Prayer outside with prayers ascending on incense. The service ends with the Te Deum sung in Oneida to reflect the Episcopal Church coming to Wisconsin with the Oneida people in 1823.

Ways you can participate!

  • Attend. Join times of worship and enjoy wonderful fellowship.
  • Enjoy a picnic lunch. A hot dog meal with sides, drinks and vegan option provided! A tent with chairs and tables will help you get out of the sun (or gasp, the rain!?) You are also welcome to bring a dessert to share. You are welcome to make a donation for the cost of the meal when you get in line, but payment is not required.
  • Join in fun and games! There will be a blow-up obstacle course (for kids and adults), inflatable axe throwing, cornhole, and giant Connect 4 to play. Bring a frisbee, football or ball and glove. There's lots of space behind the Cathedral to play.
  • Send digital pictures of church events or people. These will be available online afterwards and added to the diocesan archives. Send to to [email protected].

Each Congregation

  • Bring a church banner from your congregation. Have someone carry it as part of Eucharist procession and display during the picnic.
  • Bring a thurible and supplies. The outside closing service asks every thurifer to make a cloud of incense to lift up prayers of thanksgiving.
  • Clergy are not vesting nor processing. Please sit with your congregation and friends and enjoy the celebration.
