Camp prep is underway. Congregations, we need your help to spread the word. Camp is open to all- including nieces, nephews, grandchildren and youth within your communities. Diocesan summer camp is an inter-generational experience that has transformed lives since 1926. Recruitment for volunteer staff members has begun. Watch for an packet of camp materials which is on its way to you. We have also sent information to campers and their families. Other ways to help get the word out are, display brochures, display camp posters, announcements in bulletins and newsletters, schedule a camp presentation. A 30 Hour Famine for youth in grades 6-12 and adult leaders will be held February 14-15, 2020 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Menasha. This diocesan youth event runs from 6:00 p.m. Friday through 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Friday evening includes games, videos, and conversation on global hunger needs. Saturday morning and afternoon will include service projects with local organizations and conversation surrounding local hunger needs. Participants will fast during the event, save for frequent juice & water breaks. The fast will end with Eucharist and a light dinner. 30 Hour Famine is a ministry of World Vision, Inc.
