Diocesan Archives

Archives Repository

A repository is where items are kept like registers of services or members, minutes, newsletters, bulletins, financial reports, correspondence, pictures, audio and video recordings, and the like. The Diocesan Archives Repository holds materials from past bishops, congregations, and papers of diocesan committees and commissions. It is located in the Diocesan Office in Appleton, Wisconsin.

What to Keep

A common question asked is what to keep in the archives. The Archives of the Episcopal Church has a Records Retention Schedule for congregations to assist in answering that question.
